Furniture Pickup Requests
Thank you for thinking of CARITAS as you clean your home, office, or facility. All items will be used to help families dedicate their financial resources to fighting the cycles of homelessness and poverty. Due to limited resources and high demand from our clients, we always need either a mattress, sofa, eating table, or dresser to book an appointment. We charge $50 per pick up to support the cost of maintaining our trucks. See our list of accepted items.
We are regulated by the Department of Health. Their regulations state upholstered items cannot have rips, tears, stains, holes, heavily soiled, or animal hair. The delivery drivers have the right to decline items that are not client-worthy.
OPTION ONE
Standard Pickup with CARITAS
Pickup by CARITAS staff and volunteers at a $50 rate to offset the cost of truck maintenance.

Priority Pickup with ReSupply
Pickup by Furniture Bank partner ReSupply expedites pickup (within 48 hours) at a premium rate ($99 starting fee with costs for additional items).

ACCEPTED FURNITURE ITEMS
→ Metal bed frames: NO headboards, footboards, or wooden frames
→ Bookcases
→ Chairs: kitchen and upholstered
→ Dressers
→ Mattresses and box springs: stain and rip-free (NO kings or foam)
→ Sofas, loveseats, and ottomans (NO sleeper sofas or sectionals)
→ Tables: kitchen and dining (NO glass top tables), bedside table, end table, coffee table, and TV stand
→ Mirrors
