At CARITAS, we offer safe, affordable apartments for individuals at any stage of their recovery journey. Located within the CARITAS Center, our 47 Recovery Residences provide a supportive, sober living community; helping individuals enhance their recovery, rebuild financial stability, and gain the confidence needed to move towards self-sufficiency.
THE CHALLENGE
Many individuals in recovery face a critical gap between a residential program and independent living, struggling to find safe, stable, and affordable housing that supports their recovery. Without secure housing and a supportive community, the risk of a recurrence increases significantly.
OUR SOLUTION
Safe, stable, and affordable recovery housing – We provide a recovery-supportive living environment for up to two years, designed to build recovery capital and support long-term recovery for individuals transitioning from treatment, incarceration, homelessness, or unstable living situations.
Certified & high-quality standards – We are Virginia Association of Recovery Residences (VARR) Certified, ensuring we meet the highest state and national standards.
Affordable & flexible living – Our rental rates are competitive and include utilities. After a $350 move-in fee, weekly rental opportunities include:
→ One bedroom, one bathroom: $130 per bed in shared room
→ Two bedroom, one bathroom: $130 per bed in shared room, $155 per bed in single room
→ Two bedroom, two bathroom: $130 per bed in shared room, $185 per bed in single room with own bathroom
Comprehensive support services – Our staff connects residents to workforce development, budgeting support, recovery meetings, health care, and more.
A lifelong support network – Recovery doesn’t end when you move out. Residents become part of a strong community of peers, mentors, and staff who provide ongoing encouragement.
