Want to collect large and small donations with your group? Hosting a furniture or household items drive is a hands on way for all ages to collect needed items for the CARITAS Furniture Bank. Perfect for a neighborhood association, civic group, church etc.
It’s easy as one, two, three!
Two – We’ll provide marketing materials to help you advertise. Bulletins, newsletters, web sites, Facebook, email and Twitter are all great ways to spread the word. Just let us know your specific needs.
Three – Get the donations to CARITAS. You may drop off the items at our Furniture Bank (1125 Commerce Road) T-F 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Fill a Truck
Want to collect large donations with your group? Fill a CARITAS Truck! It’s also easy as one, two, three:
One – Pick a weekend and let us know the details. Call us at (804) 343-5008 x 408 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Two – We’ll deliver a CARITAS Furniture Bank truck to your organization or business on a Friday complete with donation receipts, signage, locks and instructions for volunteers. The cost for a Truck is $100.
Three – Spread the word and fill it up over the weekend! We’ll pick it up on Monday.
