CARITAS is only able to continue this important work because of the generous support of this community. This includes the volunteers like you who commit your time and energy to help us. Thank you! We are also grateful to the employers who hire our Works graduates, the congregations who provide shelter for our clients,the people who donate their furniture to the Furniture Bank and those who serve as sponsors for our men at The Healing Place. This community also includes a broad base of funding partners. Without their financial support, it would be impossible to serve so many people in crisis and help them reach stability.

To be considered for a gift in these challenging times is an honor in and of itself, and CARITAS would greatly appreciate whatever consideration its friends--new and old--may give in support of our mission. You may not know that CARITAS is funded mostly with private contributions; we rely on the generosity of this community. CARITAS Shelter
The largest and most inclusive emergency shelter in Central Virginia, providing food, shelter, and case management.

CARITAS Furniture Bank
The only furniture bank in Central Virginia.

CARITAS Works
An intensive 5-week job-readiness program for people facing barriers to employment.

The Healing Place
A 214 bed shelter and long term recovery program.
